Getting Good Use Out of the Zen Garden Rake
When a lot of people think of getting some peace of mind and trying to relax, a lot of things can come to mind. Some people fish, some people sew, some people garden, but then there are those who do not do anything in particular to relax.
There are some people that while at home, they are completely calm and relaxed but when they are working in places such as office jobs, they can become tense and frustrated due to their work and due to the fact that they are trapped inside a little office with hardly any room to breathe.
That is where having a little zen sand garden on your desk is an excellent way to relieve some stress and to place some focus on something other then what is going on inside that office at that very moment. Although you may not have known what they are called, more in likely you have seen a zen garden set before in magazines. They are very popular in come in a few different variations. The basic sand zen garden is a small and shallow box that is filled with sand and some little garden decorations. It also comes with a tiny little zen garden rake that is the tool you use to zone out from the problems of the world.
What the Zen Garden Rake Does for You
When sitting there at your desk and you need to relieve some pressure, you need to find something to relax your mind. Some people chew gum, some people take a thousand cigarette breaks, and some people even play with those tension balls that you are to squeeze in order to relieve some of your stresses. The zen garden rake does the same thing but in a different and more creative method. You simply use the zen garden rake to rake through the sand and by doing so, you may find that you are creating little designs and such with your rake.
It is like taking a tablet and doodling all over it but in a more grown up and mature way. With the zen garden rake, you are able to make as many creative designs as you want without wasting paper and such. And also, it makes for a pleasant looking decoration on your desktop. As you will soon notice, now that you know what the sand gardens are and what the purpose is for the zen garden rake, you will notice more and more people having them on their desk tops at home and at their offices at work.
