		<description>Dear Jennifer,

I have a dog and I love flowers so i want to create a gravel garden. I've been told by one nursery the gravel will cook the roots of plants (I live in Charleston, West Virginia which is kind of west-central). Can you direct me to a good but not fussy book with good information? This is something I'm doing in my spare time.

Thank you for your help.

(I'm not sure if I answered the website question correctly.)

Best,
