Even in our modern times, many people all over the world sill rely on herbal medicine to cure certain types of illnesses. Many people, especially those who are living in the countryside do their own herbs gardening to produce fresh herbs for medicine. Many people believe that herbal medicine is a lot better than those synthetic drugs that are sold in the pharmacies. It is a common belief that herbal medicine does not cause side effects like those synthetic drugs. Of course this claim is not entirely true because there are certain types of herbs that are so potent that they become toxic when taken in large qualities. Nevertheless, the fact that herbal medicine are made of natural ingredients, it does have lesser side effects compared to those synthetic drugs.
