Marco Michelini from Italy took some beautiful close-up shots of a Calla Lily that I wanted to share today:

By the way, if you’re looking for a large, lovely, hassle-free flower to plant, this is definitely the way to go - plant a few of these and you’re likely to have lush greens and colorful flowers soon enough.  They’re one of the easiest plants for me to grow and mine usually come back year after year.

We have a Calla Lily growing here in the office. It came as a planter in a box.

We’ve debated the amount of light to give it….. the instructions were just a bit
    vague.

The leaves are growing atop long stalks - maybe 2 feet tall now. It has a tropical
foliage look to it which we all quite like.
